Java Stored Procedures in DB2 for z/OS

Abstract

Java is not a new technology, Java Stored Procedures were introduced to DB2 for z/OS in version 7. With the recent z13 and its Java improvements, the use of this technology might be extended. Let’s review the basic concept of Java Stored Procedures in DB2 for z/OS in this presentation, discuss how to write them and introduce the latest enhancements.
