Online schema evolution

This presentation will cover how online schema can help you avoid data outage and enhance availability when alter is needed.  With new DB2 releases,  more and more online schema change has been implemented and column level deferred alter is also supported in V12 now.  This presentation will also cover how online schema can help you adopt new features like PBR with relative page numbering, lob compression and insert partition safely and smoothly.
This presentation will cover things to be considered with online schema in recovery area which including both normal recovery and moving objects between DB2 for z/OS systems cases.
