Javier has been a mainframer for over 12 years taking many roles with a primary focus on Db2 for z/OS Systems Administration. He’s also passionate about the field of Data Science and how it can be merged with the DBA work to evolve from the traditional idea of a DBA. Last but not least, he’s the only IBM Champion from Mexico since 2018, a member of several RUGs from different countries, and also a Content Leader in the IDUG Content Committee Leader.

When he’s not on tech life, he likes to read about Vedanta philosophy and practice a sport called Street Workout.
